Those who attended the SGRA Public Meeting on 21 July will have been disappointed by the fact that due to technical difficulties (projector not working), Amelia Obertelli-Moriarty was unable to show her presentation. Amelia’s presentation is attached (press here to access).
The presentation starts of with 3 of the most popular garden flowers in the UK this year, before considering options for more drought tolerant species. The rest of the presentation concentrates on the 2026 Front Garden Awards including photos of front gardens which were judged as Outstanding and Delightful (including the overall winner and 2 runner ups). There are also photos of some of the colourful tree bases we have across the Grid.
