We work with and consult with several groups across the Grid, run by local residents and volunteers, who all aim to make the Grid a better place.

Aiming to connect fruit tree owners, to use surplus fruit to make into cider and other products.


With over 100 members, they keep an eye on our local heritage park, working with council contractors Enable Leisure + Culture plc


This long-established group is a voice for local residents and groups, working to protect and enhance the facilities of this well-used park.


This successful group have one aim in mind, to transform our front gardens and streets to make Southfields Grid a blooming beautiful place to live.



They aim to make recycling all sorts of household items easy and fun, encouraging higher rates of recycling in the Grid.


A brilliant local event with produce and products from our area.  You can network with your neighbours and connect with your community.


A friendly, non-auditioned community choir meeting at St Barnabas Church on Tuesdays from 7.15-8:15 pm, at St Barnabas.  They sing songs of freedom, love, lament, celebration and lullabies from a diversity of world cultures.


A fabulous free event every February that lights up the houses on the Grid, transforming our streets into a magical outdoor art gallery for all to stake part in and admire.
