Southfields Grid Residents' Association

The Annual General Meeting of the Southfields Grid Residents’ Association (SGRA) will be held on Tuesday 19 May 2025 in St Barnabas Church 7.30pm to 9.15pm.  Please note there will be no zoom facilities for this meeting.

 The primary business will be to:

  • receive the Chair’s annual report
  • present the accounts
  • elect Officers and Members of the Executive Committee
  • agree on the annual subscription
  • consider any resolution put forward by members

Motions for consideration

Any motions for consideration must be proposed and seconded by fully paid-up members of the SGRA (i.e. those who have paid their annual subscription) and submitted to the Secretary, Ian Shaw, at no later than 7 days before the date of the AGM i.e. 11.59pm 12 May 2026.

Election of Officers and Members of the Executive Committee

We would also like to hear from anyone willing to contribute to the work of the SGRA in any way to put themselves forward as a prospective Executive Committee member. 

Nominations for election to the Executive Committee must be proposed and seconded by members of the SGRA (i.e. those who have paid their annual subscription) and must have the consent of the nominee. These should be submitted to the Secretary, Ian Shaw, no later than 7 days before the date of the AGM i.e. 11.59pm 12 May 2026.

After the formal AGM business, there will one or two guest speakers and details will be confirmed on this website when confirmed.
